The National Cancer Institute (NCI), Nagpur, welcomed a distinguished delegation of diplomats from several countries. The visit provided an opportunity for the dignitaries to tour the institute’s advanced facilities and engage in meaningful interactions with NCI’s management, doctors, and staff.
The engagement evolved into an insightful exchange of ideas and information, with the diplomats showing keen interest in NCI’s diagnostic capabilities, treatment protocols, and its holistic approach to delivering comprehensive cancer care at affordable costs. The NCI leadership—comprising senior clinical and administrative experts and led by General Secretary and CEO Mr Shailesh Joglekar and Medical Director Dr Anand Pathak—responded in detail to the delegates’ queries and thoughtfully acknowledged their suggestions.
Impressed by the institute’s world-class infrastructure, patient-centric philosophy, and the compassionate care environment nurtured at NCI, the visiting dignitaries departed with a deep sense of appreciation and confidence in the quality of cancer care available in India.
The visiting dignitaries were particularly pleased to learn that NCI also extends world-class cancer care to overseas patients through its dedicated International Patients Department.
